  www.free-sperm-donations.com (originally www.sperm-donors-worldwide.com ) was set up to help people become pregnant using sperm donor, without paying a fortune!! This info may help you learn more about what I do. All the testimonials on the FSDW site and here are true- and I have way to may now to actually put them all on- which is really amazing.

Its a unique concept - through FSDW I help women connect with 'DIY Baby Heroes' who are willing to donate sperm for free. Subscribers pay him for any out of pocket expenses eg if he needs to travel etc- or any health/ STD tests they want doing. Donors dont charge for donations however. The site is exactly like a dating site except I help you meet donors rather than a partner. Its up to you what info you put in your profile and I suggest you dont give personal info such as telephone numbers, and that you create an email just for this purpose which can later be deleted. 

As with a dating site, when people join I cannot verify anything they say. Which is why corresponding and meeting your DIY Baby Hero and getting tests done is important. When it comes down to it, most women actually want to know what the guy is like anything- this will be the biological father of their child and as such inherit all types of things- personality traits as well as appearance etc- and they can ask for medical history. Some ask the same donor to then father sibblings.

In 4 years since doing this I have had nothing but good feedback- I monitor donor profiles and have a strict behaviour code- ie these donors are not wanting any type of sexual involvement, or payment. Many donors dont want any involvement post conception, some would like to know of the sex of the child, or have a yearly photo - some would even like to be involved. Again, the site is set up to offer choices- to the donors as well as women and infertile couples looking for private sperm donation.

As 'The Child Listener' I encourage everyone to work out something that will be of benefit to their child. Everyone is looking for something different and this is about creating choices, and trying to help people do so in as safe and responsible a way as possible. Please do use the 'Children from sperm donation' forum to discuss this- meting the emotional needs of your child, and facilitating the development of a positive self-image are really important parts of being a parent- especially where children may not consider themselves to be like others - ie 'the norm' (what really is the norm these days anyway?)

I think these DIY Baby Heroes are fab- almost 2000 now and rising. Membership gives women and coiuples access to the database- and they can join for just 30 days or any 30 days after that is about half price to carry on accessing the database. Once they have connected they can correspond outside of the site- when all parties feel ready.

So I am not supplying women and infertile couples with sperm- I am giving them a way to contact donors directly- most will donate monthly until they fall pregnant. What subscribers do once they connect with their own BIY Baby Hero is up to them. Some ask their chosen donor to donate to a clinic - and they pay costs- but most just meet him just before ovulation- he goes in another room to ejaculate and gives them the fresh sperm in a sterile plastic container- you just inseminate in private within 90 minutes (when it's gone clear) You can buy self-insemination kits, ovulation predictors, etc on my new site www.DIY-Baby.com  - The Ultimate DIY Baby kits have ovulation predictor strips, pregnancy testing trips, fertility chart, the private donor arrangement document in members area, which is used to state the agreement (just get this notarised by solicitor) syringe, plastic cup to collect sperm and draw into syringe, self-insemination instructions document and folic acid. I will soon also be selling home HIV tests etc for donors. In the UK most of the DIY Baby Heroes go to their local NHS GU clinic for free regular testing- find out what happens in your local area. If you want absolutely 100% peace of mind however you will need to use a sperm bank- ask your donor if he would do that if thats an option (get prices etc from your local clinic) Private donors have no way to freeze their sperm- and when you use a clinic the sperm is frozen and quarantined for six months and then re-tested for HIV etc.
I offer you choices- and through FSDW the genuine donors tend to register- men looking for sex or payment get bumped off pretty quickly. However as with anything women and couples need to weigh up the risks before subscribing.
 
This works well for most women- but its a personal choice, and you need to really decide what is right for you. If you join you will need patience, and an understanding that donors have the right to choose who they donate to- all I ask is that everyone is respectful of one another, and as honest as possible in profiles (everyone creates a profile with blogs, info and you can post pics etc) so that everyone can find a match as quickly as possible.
